Hari Om to all,
Ashwin Navaratra
This year ‘ Ashwin Navaratra’ is starting from ‘ Ashwin Pratipada ’ i.e. Tuesday, 16th Oct to ‘Ashwin Navami‘ i.e.Tuesday, 23rd Oct.
In ‘Ashwin‘ month on Navami, ‘Ravan‘ was killed ; hence, it is celebrated as Navaratra of Ashubhankar Vinash shakti i.e. Mahishasurmardhini, whereas in ‘Chaitra‘ month on 'Navami', Sri Ram is born; hence, Navaratra in Chaitra is celebrated as Navaratra of Shubhankar shakti i.e. Anasuya mata.
During these 9 days of Ashwin Navaratra, we have to chant Shri Adimata Ashubhanashini Stavanam at least once every day.
This stotra will be chanted at Shri Aniruddha Gurukshetram, Khar throughout the day during this period. We should visit Shri Aniruddha Gurukshetram at least once in these 9 days and chant this strotra there.
Ram Leela
During these 9 days, ‘Ram Leela‘ is performed, mostly in Northern part of India. Our beloved Parampujya Sadguru BAPU has informed us to listen / remember stories of Ram / chanting of Ramnam during these 9 days. Best way to do it is to read ‘Ramrasayan’ during these 9 days.
Lalita Panchami
Fifth day of Ashwin Navaratra is called Lalita Panchami. This year Lalita Pachmai is on Friday, 19th Oct.
The importance of this day is that the Goddess Laxmi comes in form of MOTHER and blesses all HER children.
On this day, we can worship Parampujya NANADAI who is 'Bhakta Mata' by performing Chidananda Upasana at our home.
At Jui Nagar, we celebrate Lalit Panchami.
‘ Ashtami Hom '
This year Ashtami is on Monday, 22nd Oct. We can do ‘Hom‘ on this day at our home.
The procedure for doing 'Ashtami Hom' preferably at the time of sunset (if not possible then after sunset but before 12 in the night).
